Compact, reliable and a much-loved classic, the 2-Oven Aga has a reputation for peerless performance.
Like all heat-storage Agas, the 2-Oven model features two insulated covers. When closed, they’re just gently warm to the touch; once opened both hotplates are instantly ready to cook.
On the left-hand side is the boiling plate. High heat means water to be boiled faster than most electric kettles and it’s large enough to fit three average-sized saucepans at once.
On the right-hand side is the simmering plate. Again, this holds three average-sized saucepans and doubles as a griddle.
The top right-hand oven is the roasting oven and is used for roasting, grilling and baking. This capacious oven can take anything up to a 13kg bird.
On bottom right-hand side is the simmering oven. This is where casseroles, meringues and vegetables – the list is almost endless – can be left to continue (even overnight) while you focus on other tasks.
Unlike other cookers, every Aga has identical cooking principles no matter which type of energy you choose and the 2-Oven Aga is available in a choice of heat sources to suit your needs. It can run on diesel, 16-amp electricity, natural or propane gas.
